From Dusty Bottles to Glowing Skin: My Skincare Journey

I’ve always loved skincare in theory. Over the years, I bought cleansers, creams, serums, peels, and all sorts of gadgets, but most of them ended up collecting dust. I’d get motivated on a Sunday night, only to abandon my routine by Friday.
Then something shifted. One day at work, one of the nurses I work with walked in literally glowing. Her skin looked so fresh that I couldn’t help but stop her and beg for her secret. To my surprise, many of the products she listed were already sitting in my bathroom cabinet. The difference? She had determination and a structured routine…the two things I was missing.
With her guidance and a few YouTube deep dives, I built out a complete skincare “arsenal.” For the first time, I committed to using my products with consistency. Now, three weeks later, my skin looks healthier, calmer, and more vibrant than it has in years.
So today, I want to share exactly what I’m using and how I structure my week to make sure every product has its place.

My 7-Day Skincare Rotation

3 weeks ago my face was red, bumpy, & peeling, after I attempted too many treatments at once. Now? Calmer, smoother, glowing! Here’s my weekly system that lets me use ALL my products without frying my skin.

Morning (Daily)

Cleanser → CeraVe / Snail Gel / No7 / RoC (rotate)
Toner → TIRTIR Rice
Serum → Vit C (Mon/Wed/Fri), Peptides (Tue/Thu), HA (Sat), Niacinamide (Sun)
Snail Mucin Essence
Moisturizer → Snail All-in-One or Hydra Gel and SPF (non-negotiable)


Evening Rotation

Mon Retinol → Cleanser → TIRTIR → Retinol → Balancium

Tue Recovery + Scrub → Scrub → TIRTIR → Peptides → Snail → Hydra Gel

Wed BHA → Glycolic Cleanser → Anua BHA → Snail → Hyaluronic Cream

Thu Recovery → Cleanser → TIRTIR → Niacinamide → Snail → Restore & Renew

Fri Retinol → Same as Mon

Sat Mask + Devices → Cleanser → TIRTIR → Collagen Mask + LED → Snail → Rice Spa Mask

Sun Peel/Recovery → Monthly AHA 30% peel → Snail → Balancium OR Recovery night


My Rules
No stacking actives (retinol + BHA/AHA)
Always buffer with snail + ceramides
Hydrate, then protect
SPF every morning

Results in 3 Weeks
Redness down
Peeling calmed
Smoother texture
Real glow, not irritation

The lesson learned: Skincare isn’t about using everything at once, it’s about rotation, recovery, and patience.
